What are the common stainless steel plates? We seldom see the original flat plate from the steel factory now. Why? Because of its large volume, high cost, difficult pickling, inconvenient transportation and other reasons, it is more common in the market to obtain the stainless steel plate from the original stainless steel coil through the opening and leveling process. Common stainless steel plates are shown in the figure below. There are cold-rolled stainless steel plates with thin thickness and bright surface, referred to as 2B plate for short; Hot rolled stainless steel plate, with relatively thick thickness and white pickling surface, is referred to as n plate for short. In addition to distinguishing stainless steel plates by surface state, stainless steel is also classified according to organizational structure, chemical composition, performance characteristics and functional characteristics.
According to the structure, it can be divided into austenitic stainless steel plate, ferritic stainless steel plate, martensitic stainless steel plate (including precipitation hardening stainless steel plate) and duplex stainless steel plate.
According to chemical composition or some characteristic elements, it is divided into chromium stainless steel plate, chromium nickel stainless steel plate, chromium nickel molybdenum stainless steel plate, low carbon stainless steel plate, high molybdenum stainless steel plate and ultra-high purity high chromium ferritic stainless steel plate.
2 according to the performance characteristics and uses, it can be divided into nitrate resistant stainless steel plate, sulfuric acid resistant stainless steel plate, stress corrosion resistant stainless steel plate and high-strength stainless steel plate.
According to the functional characteristics, it can be divided into low-temperature stainless steel plate, non-magnetic stainless steel plate, free cutting stainless steel plate and micro stainless steel plate.
